Good fellowship is one of my favorite luxuries of Freemasonry. It is affords us the opportunity to meet and relate with men of similar interests or different backgrounds, and even opposing opinions. You see, we all came down this road together. We all approached another Mason at some point before joining this wonderful fraternity, whether it was your father, brother or the secretary of your home lodge. Within a tiled lodge or at your favorite watering hole, good fellowship is absolutely necessary in continuing the traditions of Freemasonry. Cinema Grotto is a great example of good fellowship. We share jokes, laughs and stories during our meetings, and at any group outings. Family members brighten our events up even more. It’s a wonderful experience, and I’m hoping that we are able to add a few more good men to our ranks during my year as Monarch.
I hope to see everyone at our next meeting on March 27, 2013 – the prophet that brings in the most new members get a prize! Be safe on St. Patty’s day, prophets and friends!
